Reception were excited to receive a ‘fragile package’ this week. In side were 5 wiggly, tiny caterpillars.

UPDATE: We now have 4 out of the 5 chrysalis as butterflies. The warm weather seems to have encouraged them out.

Today the Eco Warriors gathered together and joined in with a worldwide assembly all about Climate Change.
“We learnt about the COP26 meeting that all of the world leaders will be having soon and talked about how we can help. Climate change isn’t something that might happen in the future, for the poorer countries in the world they are sadly having to tackle climate change now!”

Pure awe and wonder! Halle was excited about the ducks hatching and named our first arrival Feather.
Frankie has named duck 2 ‘Dappy’. Duck 3 is on it’s way and Reception can’t wait to name it this afternoon.
Welcome to the world duck number 3, ‘Teeny’.
EYFS have enjoyed watching the ducks swim in the bath outside. Duck number 3 has been named ‘Teeny’ is a bit weak and we are taking really good care of her.
We now have 6 lively ducklings. Meet Feathers, Dappy, Bernie, Tammy, Elsa and Quackers.
Year 4 are proud to announce that they have adopted an 🐘. After being gripped by our class text ‘Running Wild’ we are very excited to be adopting our very own Asian Elephant.#MichaelMorpurgo
